Civic Engagements

Stern Law Group Cares

Stern Law Group is committed to giving back to the local residents who have trusted us to represent them during some of the most difficult experiences in their lives. In addition to providing our clients in need with the resources, assistance, and necessary living expenses during the handling of their personal injury cases, we also work hard to show our support for our local communities.

Having served more than 40,000 clients over the years, our firm has developed strong ties to Houston and to other cities throughout the state of Texas. This is why we routinely devote our time, efforts, and energy to numerous organizations and associations in the community. As we feel these civic engagements represent a large part of what our practice stands for, we ask you to take a moment to read about our involvement in community affairs.

Aishel House ImageThe Aishel House

The Aishel House is a non-profit organization that provides housing and support to both patients and families of those being treated at the Texas Medical Center. It is committed to offering food, child care, counseling, and more to all people. The name comes from the Jewish account of Abraham when he "planted an aishel in Beer Sheva." The term "aishel" has come to be associated with a place that is genuine, warm and hospitable. Lead Attorney Jeffrey M. Stern volunteers many hours with this organization. Currently, the Aishel House is planning for a remodel in order to better meet the needs of the patients and families that it serves. To raise funding for the remodel, Mr. Stern has taken it upon himself to help in this effort and do whatever is necessary to help them accomplish their mission.

Compassion that Extends Beyond the Courtroom

The attorneys at Stern Law Group are also involved in many other civic and community engagements, such as the South Texas College of Law. Mr. Stern graduated from this college and has a passion for giving back. His donations have included finances to build a new rooftop terrace for the library. Other commitments that the firm has to the community include the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC), the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), and United Farm Workers of America. Such a strong involvement in the community indicates a passion for people that extends far beyond the courtroom. Stern Law Group is proud to assist people so that they can accomplish their goals.
